Congress: Choose Tax Relief—Not Tax Hikes
A Time for Choosing: Cut Government Waste or Raise Taxes?
Washington has a spending problem. The American people know it—and we’re tired of being stuck with the bill.
Now, some Republicans in Congress are actually considering raising taxes on small businesses and job creators, instead of cutting wasteful programs like Joe Biden’s failed Green New Deal.
It is unthinkable that House Republicans would even consider a plan to increase taxes—especially to protect the bloated subsidies in President Biden’s so-called “Inflation Reduction Act.”
American workers should not have to send money to Washington in order to subsidize big corporate virtue signaling about climate change and woke environmental agendas. And yet, Americans are paying the price:
- $27B in the “Greenhouse Gas Reduction” fund, essentially an EPA managed slush fund for the green energy and “zero-emission” technology companies run by Biden’s political donors in Silicon Valley.
- $20B for automakers to buy new tools and manufacturing facilities for EVs.
- $20B for the agriculture industry to employ “climate smart agriculture practices.”
- $250B in direct subsidies for the Biden administration’s friends in the ESG movement.
That’s not what Americans voted for.
Increasing taxes on Main Street and hardworking families to protect a liberal slush fund is a gut punch.
We didn’t send Republicans to D.C. to raise taxes – we sent them to cut reckless spending and protect our paychecks.
That’s a slap in the face to hardworking Americans who are still struggling under sky-high inflation caused by Bidenomics.
Raising taxes isn’t just bad policy—it’s bad politics. Americans want tax relief, not more government waste.
It’s time for lawmakers to do what they promised: Stand up for taxpayers, stop the spending, and pass the Reconciliation bill.
Tell Congress now: Say NO to tax hikes and YES to protecting prosperity.
