New Polling: Americans Back the One Big Beautiful Bill
Fresh national polling conducted by Public Opinion Strategies confirms what we’ve long known: the American people support the One Big Beautiful Bill. A clear majority—56% of voters—favor making the Trump tax cuts permanent when they learn what’s in the bill, which includes extending middle-class tax relief, unleashing American energy, and securing the border. That support skyrockets to 91% among Republicans.
The poll also shows strong support for attacking waste, fraud, and abuse in the Medicaid program, so it can provide better health care for low-income families and save tax dollars.
As the bill moves through Congress, voters are sending a clear message: protect prosperity, cut spending, and lock in tax relief for hardworking Americans.
Background:
This poll was commissioned as a part of AFP’s $20 million Protect Prosperity campaign, the single largest investment of any group to ensure that Americans aren’t hit with the largest tax hike in history.
